4∞Form: Revolutionary innovation for pharma industry leading to sustainable choices

We are proud to announce that we have developed a revolutionary innovation in the field of packaging: the 4∞ Form!

The 4∞ Form is a pharmaceutical blister pack that is made entirely of lacquered aluminium. While its primary use is for the pharmaceutical industry, it could also find its application in a wider context. The “secret” of the product name is hidden in the fact that aluminium is a material that can be endlessly or infinitely recycled without losing its properties, which are extremely important in the packaging industry for maintaining product safety and quality.

The 4∞ Form is perfect for recycling, has impressive protective properties and is compliant with existing and future pharmaceutical and packaging regulations and legislation, such as the recently passed EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). The 4∞ Form is intended primarily for the pharmaceutical industry, where it can replace existing solutions used in packaging tablets, capsules and similar products, such as OPA/AL/PVC (cold form) or PVC/PVDC (thermoform). Aluminium is our preferred material because it is extremely light, resistant to both high and low temperatures and provides 100 percent protection against moisture, light, oxygen, and other gases, as well as bacteria and microorganisms. Products in flexible aluminium packaging therefore provide a very long shelf life.

The product can be fully adapted to all customers’ individual needs, from shape to printing and branding, and it can be used in the packaging of different pharmaceutical products, e.g. antibiotics precisely because of the particularly strong barrier, over-the-counter medicines, and many others.

We as a company are committed to sustainability, as evidenced by numerous certificates. Just recently, in May 2024, we were awarded a gold medal by EcoVadis, an organization that evaluates sustainability performance in four main pillars: environment, labour and human rights, sustainable procurement, and ethics. Thus, we were ranked in the top 1% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis in the printing industry. We are also actively developing circular solutions that ensure full compliance with the proposed EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (PPWR) on the European level. We have also committed to the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi), in our efforts to minimize the impact on the environment.
